"And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:7 📖

Take everything to God in prayer. Joys are more joyful. Fear is calmed. Anxiety melts away. God's peace is what is needed in these turbulent times.

When was the last time you experienced this much joy?

Our Marianist Brothers in Hawaii are part of a large, vibrant community that came out in force to celebrate the 2024 Jubilarians with a mass and gathering. The Hawaiian people have many meaningful and poignant traditions, including the placing of a flower lei around someone's neck as a sign of affection and unity. Our Jubilarians were covered in leis and the love of their community as they celebrated their lives of joy surrounded by an interconnected Marianist Family.

We celebrate with Fr. Timothy Dwyer this year as he marks 70 years of profession as a Marianist. With so many years of memories to treasure, one thread connects it all, the importance of family.

Fr. Timothy looks back with "profound gratitude" for being raised in a holy family and then choosing to become a Marianist and spend his life in service to others. He was profoundly impacted by the mentorship, care and concern of the Marianists he encountered his youth who inspired him to a vocation to live and work with others "committed to embodying the spirit of Jesus and Mary in their lives."

Bro. Paco Gomes, you are missed by the Marianist Family.

Bro. Paco entered eternal life in March after 64 years of profession at the age of 83. A native of Hawaii, he taught for more than 30 years in schools there and in Mexico where he encountered Christ in a profound way and became a tireless advocate and servant of marginalized peoples and an energetic promoter of Hispanic culture. In later years, he became the primary caregiver for his dear brother, Johnny, who was born with Down syndrome and provided great joy to Bro. Paco and all who knew him.

Bro. William Bolts says that life as a Marianist Brother has been an adventure beyond his wildest dreams.

After making his first profession of vows in 1954, Bro. William devoted his life to serving Mary through the ministry of teaching in Catholic schools and as an administrator, religious educator and youth minister in parishes and universities throughout California and British Columbia.

Congratulations on you long service as a Marianist Brother.

Congratulations Brother, 🙏🎉🎊

Congrats Bill!

The Marianist Family was honored to celebrate jubilarians in both the Society of Mary and the Daughters of Mary Immaculate at a special mass and reception in Dayton this August.

One of the great joys of religious life is celebrating these humble servants that inspire us through their gift of self that spans many years. Their lives of adventure and fulfillment in service to the Church under the guidance and protection of Mary provide a great and powerful witness to the goodness of God and His perfect plan for each of us, but most especially those called to a vocation of religious life.

Blessings to our brothers and sisters celebrating significant anniversaries as vowed religious in the Marianist Family! #religiouslife #MarianistFamily #celebration #JUBILARIANS #Marianist #dayton

The Feast of the Most Holy Name of Mary is a special day for the Marianist Family. It is the patronal feast of both the Society of Mary (SM) and the Daughters of Mary Immaculate (FMI).

For 175 years in the United States and more than 200 years worldwide, Marianists have served communities of faith to advance the mission of Mary under her patronage and protection. On this day, we recommit ourselves to serve Mary's mission in our day by following her desire that we "do whatever He tells you."
